A top price for Bernard Meninsky
When the work The Bathers by Bernard Meninsky was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 3,500.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76). This high result makes The Bathers the most expensive artwork by Bernard Meninsky that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit The Bathers von Bernard Meninsky im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
