Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work House and Trees by Bernard Meninsky was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,536.00 (€ 1,792.05). Admittedly, works by Bernard Meninsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Bathers in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit House and Trees von Bernard Meninsky wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.536,00 (€ 1.792,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Meninsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Bathers im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.784,76).
