Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shepherd with Girl by Bernard Meninsky was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,370.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Meninsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bathers in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shepherd with Girl von Bernard Meninsky kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.370,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Meninsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bathers im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.784,76).
