This artwork by Bernard Leach achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2017. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Bottle Vase sold for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,523.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Leach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vase With 'Leaping Fish' Design in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,346.80).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bernard Leach erzielte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Bottle Vase für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.523,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Leach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vase With 'Leaping Fish' Design im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.346,80).
