A top price for Ben Schumacher - as previously expected
The work Yet To Be Titled by Ben Schumacher was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in February 2016. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,688.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Yet To Be Titled is the most expensive artwork by Ben Schumacher that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Yet To Be Titled von Ben Schumacher wurde im Februar 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.688,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Yet To Be Titled das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ben Schumacher, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
