Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bela de Kristo could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Nocturne Ii changed hands for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,234.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bela de Kristo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les fiancés Hongrois in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,203.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bela de Kristo konnte im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Nocturne Ii für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.234,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bela de Kristo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les fiancés Hongrois im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.203,54).
