Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Nature Morte Au Violon by Bela de Kristo for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,469.69). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bela de Kristo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les fiancés Hongrois in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,203.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Violon von Bela de Kristo für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.469,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bela de Kristo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les fiancés Hongrois im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.203,54).
