Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition (I) by Bela de Kristo for USD 625.00 (€ 592.30). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bela de Kristo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les fiancés Hongrois in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,203.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition (I) von Bela de Kristo für USD 625,00 (€ 592,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bela de Kristo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les fiancés Hongrois im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.203,54).
