Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bela de Kristo could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art auction, the work Autoportrait changed hands for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,108.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bela de Kristo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les fiancés Hongrois in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,203.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bela de Kristo konnte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art wechselte die Arbeit Autoportrait für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.108,66) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bela de Kristo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les fiancés Hongrois im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.203,54).
