Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'A New Beige Wall Fabric From Rodier' by Adolphe de Meyer was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2008. The price achieved of USD 26,250.00 (€ 20,698.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adolphe de Meyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Water Lilies in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 142,524.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'A New Beige Wall Fabric From Rodier' von Adolphe de Meyer kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 26.250,00 (€ 20.698,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adolphe de Meyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Water Lilies im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 142.524,47).
