Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Barkley L. Hendricks achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2018. In the Contemporary Art Evening Auction auction, the work Brenda P sold for USD 2,175,000.00 (€ 1,863,753.21) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barkley L. Hendricks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stanley, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 6,100,000.00 (€ 5,725,549.09).

Für andere Arbeiten von Barkley L.
