Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Eve, petit modèle, Version à la base carrée dite aussi aux pieds plats by Auguste Rodin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 327,600.00 (€ 381,270.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Rodin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Éternel Printemps in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 20,410,000.00 (€ 18,329,591.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eve, petit modèle, Version à la base carrée dite aussi aux pieds plats von Auguste Rodin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 327.600,00 (€ 381.270,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Rodin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Éternel Printemps im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.410.000,00 (€ 18.329.591,38).
