Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Pisana, Ii Versione by Arturo Martini was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 53,079.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Arturo Martini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Pisana - Ii Versione in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 264,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Pisana, Ii Versione von Arturo Martini kam im Februar 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 53.079,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arturo Martini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Pisana - Ii Versione im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 264.250,00.
