Auction result well in line with expectations
The work San Gennaro e l'offerta del caduto - II by Arturo Martini was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November this year. The price achieved of EUR 7,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Martini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Pisana - Ii Versione in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 264,250.00.

Die Arbeit San Gennaro e l'offerta del caduto - II von Arturo Martini wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Martini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Pisana - Ii Versione im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 264.250,00.
