Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work The Musician by Arthur von Ferraris for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 75,716.21). This price was achieved in the auction Important Works from the Najd Collection, Part II at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Arthur von Ferraris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Austrian Driving A Bargain, Cairo in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,049,000.00 (€ 673,818.09).
