Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Arriving At The Mosque by Arthur von Ferraris for GBP 162,500.00 (€ 188,488.35). This price was achieved in the auction Important Works from the Najd Collection at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur von Ferraris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Austrian Driving A Bargain, Cairo , which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 1,049,000.00 (€ 673,818.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Arriving At The Mosque von Arthur von Ferraris für GBP 162.500,00 (€ 188.488,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Works from the Najd Collection bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00.
