Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting, which included the work Hungarian The Coffee House, Cairo by Arthur von Ferraris. The price achieved of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 349,724.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Arthur von Ferraris have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Austrian Driving A Bargain, Cairo was auctioned for USD 1,049,000.00 (€ 673,818.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hungarian The Coffee House, Cairo von Arthur von Ferraris zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 289.250,00 (€ 349.724,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Arthur von Ferraris konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2008 die Arbeit Austrian Driving A Bargain, Cairo für USD 1.049.000,00 (€ 673.818,09) versteigert.
