Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hungarianthe Armourer’S Shop by Arthur von Ferraris was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 162,500.00 (€ 185,070.19). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur von Ferraris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Austrian Driving A Bargain, Cairo , which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 1,049,000.00 (€ 673,818.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hungarianthe Armourer’S Shop von Arthur von Ferraris kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 162.500,00 (€ 185.070,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur von Ferraris mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Austrian Driving A Bargain, Cairo beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 1.049.000,00 (€ 673.818,09) versteigert wurde.
