It achieved a price of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 104,493.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Admittedly, works by Arthur von Ferraris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Austrian Driving A Bargain, Cairo in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,049,000.00 (€ 673,818.09).

Die Arbeit The Domino Players von Arthur von Ferraris wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 104.493,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur von Ferraris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Austrian Driving A Bargain, Cairo im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.049.000,00 (€ 673.818,09).
