Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Arthur Rothstein; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Farmer and sons walking in the face of a dust storm, Cimarron County, Oklahoma sold at auction in April 2001 with the realized price of USD 23,500.00 (€ 26,481.86).
