Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Arthur Beecher Carles was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 24,019.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Arthur Beecher Carles have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 177,681.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Arthur Beecher Carles wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 24.019,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
