Incised with signature, numbered 258/400 and 'ASSIDER I.I.S.I CONGRESS, Roma ottobre, 1977' on the base (there were also some artist's proofs), fabricated by Geccherle Microfoundry, Milan.

In September this year Phillips in 6 - held the auction Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction, which included the work Stele per Assider (Stele for Assider) (A.P. M68) by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,905.00 (€ 1,799.89), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giroscopio IV in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 6 - die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stele per Assider (Stele for Assider) (A.P. M68) von Arnaldo Pomodoro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.905,00 (€ 1.799,89) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giroscopio IV im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03).
