The work Disco by Arnaldo Pomodoro was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction at Christies in Milan in December this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 88,200.00 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giroscopio IV in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).

Die Arbeit Disco von Arnaldo Pomodoro wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 88.200,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giroscopio IV im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03).
