Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Bassorilievo (studio) by Arnaldo Pomodoro. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giroscopio IV in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bassorilievo (studio) von Arnaldo Pomodoro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giroscopio IV im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03).
