(1216 x 997 mm.)
Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Armando could be acquired at Christies in New York in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online auction, the work Four prints by the artist changed hands for USD 756.00 (€ 684.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2015 with an auction result of EUR 47,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Armando konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online wechselte die Arbeit Four prints by the artist für USD 756,00 (€ 684,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armando erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.100,00.
