Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Armando Morales was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 10,080.00 (€ 8,583.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando Morales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cuatro Bañistas En Canal De Plantación in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 982,000.00 (€ 929,748.15).
