Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Tres Desnudos by Armando Morales. The »bidding war« ended at USD 14,025.00 (€ 13,747.30), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando Morales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cuatro Bañistas En Canal De Plantación in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 982,000.00 (€ 929,748.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tres Desnudos von Armando Morales zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 14.025,00 (€ 13.747,30) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armando Morales erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cuatro Bañistas En Canal De Plantación im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 982.000,00 (€ 929.748,15).
