Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mujer Dormida by Armando Morales was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in New York in July last year. The price achieved of USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,997.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando Morales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cuatro Bañistas En Canal De Plantación in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 982,000.00 (€ 929,748.15).
