Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Armando Morales could be acquired at Phillips in New York in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Paisaje Cono Y Prisma Triangulas (Landscape with Cones and Triangular Prisms) changed hands for USD 9,525.00 (€ 8,761.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando Morales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cuatro Bañistas En Canal De Plantación in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 982,000.00 (€ 929,748.15).
