Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Illustration of Art (Study for the portfolio) by Antonio Dias was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2014. It achieved a price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 19,094.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Dias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Free Continent: Natural Richnesses in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 434,500.00 (€ 333,973.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Illustration of Art (Study for the portfolio) von Antonio Dias kam im November 2014 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 19.094,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Dias erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Free Continent: Natural Richnesses im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 434.500,00 (€ 333.973,87).
