Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Environments For The Prisoner by Antonio Dias was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2008. The price achieved of EUR 9,850.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Dias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Free Continent: Natural Richnesses in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 434,500.00 (€ 333,973.87).

Die Arbeit Environments For The Prisoner von Antonio Dias wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.850,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Dias erzielen.
