Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 564.00 (€ 798.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Calza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Adunata di cavalieri con trombettieri a cavallo e battaglia ai piedi di una torre in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 70,000.00.

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 564,00 (€ 798,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Calza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Adunata di cavalieri con trombettieri a cavallo e battaglia ai piedi di una torre im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 70.000,00.
