Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A cavalry scene with a battle in the background by Antonio Calza was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,673.00 (€ 2,528.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Calza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Adunata di cavalieri con trombettieri a cavallo e battaglia ai piedi di una torre in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 70,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A cavalry scene with a battle in the background von Antonio Calza kam im Juli 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.673,00 (€ 2.528,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Calza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Adunata di cavalieri con trombettieri a cavallo e battaglia ai piedi di una torre im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 70.000,00.
