Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Gary Lucas, New York, 1990" by Anton Corbijn. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,904.05), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton Corbijn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 44,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Gary Lucas, New York, 1990" von Anton Corbijn zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.904,05) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anton Corbijn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.100,00.
