In April 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work The hospital by Anthony Eyton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 780.00 (€ 1,142.02), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Eyton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spitalfields in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,013.23).

Im April 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The hospital von Anthony Eyton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.142,02) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Eyton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spitalfields im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.013,23).
