Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Christies in Paris held the auction Pierre Berès à livre ouvert, which included the work Sans titre by Anthony Benjamin. The price achieved of EUR 125.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100.00 – 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Benjamin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,647.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Pierre Berès à livre ouvert durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Anthony Benjamin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 125,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100,00 – 150,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Benjamin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.647,62).
