This artwork by Anthony Benjamin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2016. In the Modern British & Irish Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,734.75) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anthony Benjamin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October 2010 with the realized price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,647.62).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Anthony Benjamin erzielte im März 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.734,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Anthony Benjamin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.647,62).
