Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape With Willow Trees By A River by Anthonie Waterloo for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,158.76). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anthonie Waterloo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Footbridge Over A Stream, With A Pollard Willow in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,357.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape With Willow Trees By A River von Anthonie Waterloo für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.158,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthonie Waterloo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Footbridge Over A Stream, With A Pollard Willow im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.357,84).
