Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape With Trees By A River by Anthonie Waterloo was sold in the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2017. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,671.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthonie Waterloo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Footbridge Over A Stream, With A Pollard Willow, which sold at auction in January 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,357.84).

Die Arbeit Landscape With Trees By A River von Anthonie Waterloo wurde im Juli 2017 in der Auktion Old Master & British Works on Paper bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.671,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
