Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape With Trees By A River by Anthonie Waterloo was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,325.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anthonie Waterloo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Footbridge Over A Stream, With A Pollard Willow in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,357.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape With Trees By A River von Anthonie Waterloo kam im Juli 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.325,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthonie Waterloo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Footbridge Over A Stream, With A Pollard Willow im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.357,84).
