In December 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900, which included the work A Man And A Dog On A Path In A Wooded Pastoral Landscape by Anthonie Waterloo. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,125.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthonie Waterloo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Footbridge Over A Stream, With A Pollard Willow, which sold at auction in January 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,357.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Man And A Dog On A Path In A Wooded Pastoral Landscape von Anthonie Waterloo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Anthonie Waterloo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Footbridge Over A Stream, With A Pollard Willow beobachtet, die im Januar 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.357,84) versteigert wurde.
