The work "J.P Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir in Nida", 1965 by Antanas Sutkus was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020. The auction ended at the price of SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,173.08), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antanas Sutkus have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work J. P. Sartre In Lithuania in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,462.05).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "J.P Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir in Nida", 1965 von Antanas Sutkus kam im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.173,08) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antanas Sutkus auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit J. P. Sartre In Lithuania im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.250,00 (€ 8.462,05).
