In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Changing Focus - A Collection of Russian and Eastern European Contemporary Photography, which included the work J. P. Sartre In Lithuania by Antanas Sutkus. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,462.05), 21% above the upper estimate. With this result, J. P. Sartre In Lithuania is even the most expensive work of art by Antanas Sutkus that we have observed at auctions so far.
