Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Annabel Emson could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Part I and Part II auction, the work Cola Constellation changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,835.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Annabel Emson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Birthing Waters, which sold at auction in March 2019 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,606.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Annabel Emson konnte im September 2007 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Part I and Part II wechselte die Arbeit Cola Constellation für USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.835,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Annabel Emson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Birthing Waters beobachtet, die im März 2019 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.606,70) versteigert wurde.
