Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2011 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Untitled #21 (Override) by Anna Gaskell. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,625.00 (€ 3,966.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anna Gaskell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) in May 2003 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 28,437.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2011 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled #21 (Override) von Anna Gaskell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 3.966,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Gaskell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 28.437,87).
