Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Eva x 2", 2001 by Ann-Sofi Sidén was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,376.63). Admittedly, works by Ann-Sofi Sidén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "53 W. 9th Street (588:231 - 588:238), 1994-2004" in November 2015 with an auction result of SEK 236,000.00 (€ 25,606.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Eva x 2", 2001 von Ann-Sofi Sidén im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.376,63) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ann-Sofi Sidén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "53 W. 9th Street (588:231 - 588:238), 1994-2004" im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 236.000,00 (€ 25.606,51).
