In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Stay cool by Angki Purbandono. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,155.55), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angki Purbandono - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series), which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).

Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stay cool von Angki Purbandono zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.155,55) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Angki Purbandono mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert wurde.
