Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Waiting for His Master by Angki Purbandono was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 22,680.00 (€ 2,463.64). Admittedly, works by Angki Purbandono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Waiting for His Master von Angki Purbandono kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 22.680,00 (€ 2.463,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angki Purbandono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42).
