Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Yoga In Fukuoka by Angki Purbandono. The price achieved of HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,647.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 18,000.00 – 28,000.00. Admittedly, works by Angki Purbandono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yoga In Fukuoka von Angki Purbandono zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.647,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 18.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angki Purbandono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42).
