Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Art Soju #2 by Angki Purbandono was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,973.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 48,000.00 – 68,000.00. Other works by Angki Purbandono have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) was auctioned for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
